The Devil's Details

The Devil's Details

From Obsession to Profession

For over a decade, I have been helping islanders rediscover what they love about their vehicles.

I persued a career in detailing when I first had the opportunity to sell one of my personal vehicles that I had spent countless hours perfecting to the best of my ability. Upon a suggestion from the purchaser, I applied for a position at a few detailing shops, and soon began working at a small operation in Esquimalt. Five shops and thousands of hours later, I have turned that early passion I had into a comprehensive set of skills that I have been employing ever since.

Red Devil is built on the belief that the smallest details contribute to something more than the sum of their parts. Through meticulous workmanship, professional products, and a personalized approach, each service is tailored to the vehicle's condition and the owner's goals.

The result is more than a cleaner vehicle. It's about the satisfaction of stepping into something that feels cared for, protected, and ready for the road ahead.

Rooted on the Island

Born and raised right here in Victoria, I founded Red Devil Detailing in 2025. Just as in my personal life, supporting local Canadian businesses is an important part of how I operate. Whenever practical, I prioritize Canadian-made products and locally owned suppliers.

Attention to detail extends beyond the vehicles I care for. It means being intentional about where I spend my dollars and supporting the businesses that help keep our local economy strong, while ensuring the products and materials I use meet the standards my clients expect.

Protecting More Than Paint

At Red Devil Detailing, sustainability isn't about buzzwords, it's about making thoughtful choices whenever possible. From prioritizing durable tools and reusable materials to selecting products responsibly and minimizing waste, I believe caring for vehicles should not come at the expense of the environment around them.

Professional detailing also plays an often-overlooked role in sustainability. By protecting paint, preserving interior materials, and extending the lifespan of vehicle components, regular maintenance helps reduce unnecessary replacement and keep vehicles looking their best, and out of the landfill.

What this looks like in practice:

  • Highly concentrated products that decrease shipping emmisions by avoiding the weight and volume of ready-to-use products

  • Careful use management and constant downcycling of microfiber cloths to get every last use out of them, while ensuring your vehicle's finishes stay protected

  • Responsible disposal of any interior refuse and product packaging to ensure that recyclable materials end up where they are supposed to be

Attention to detail means thinking beyond the finish.
It means considering the long-term impact of the choices made along the way.

Detailing Done Differently

After years of working in traditional detailing shops, I began to notice a growing disconnect between what clients were paying and the value they were receiving. As overhead costs continued to rise, an increasing portion of every invoice went toward rent, utilities, and operating expenses rather than the quality of the service itself.

Red Devil Detailing was built around delivering exceptional results without the burden of a traditional storefront. As a mobile service, I'm able to focus my resources where they matter most. Professional products, specialized equipment, and the time required to do the job properly. The result is a level of care and convenience that rivals many traditional shops, often at a more competitive price, all from the convenience of your home.

Even after hundreds of satisfied clients, and despite my best efforts, every once in a while I come up short. In the unlikely event that you're unsatisfied with the results of my work, I will exhaust every reasonable option to make sure that the final results meet your satisfaction.
