Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Red Devil Detailing different?
I have over a decade of experience working in various shops. Over the years, I have picked up countless tips, tricks, and techniques from some of the most telanted detailers on the island. Through this experience I have been able to refine my wealth of techniques into a system that delivers superior results in a reasonable time frame, for a fair cost. No rushed production-line work—just careful restoration, protection, and refinement.
Do you come to me?
Yes. Red Devil is a fully mobile detailing service. I bring the equipment, products, and expertise directly to your home or workplace, allowing you to carry on with your day while your vehicle receives the attention it deserves.
How much does detailing cost?
Every vehicle accumulates wear differently, which is why pricing is tailored to the vehicle's size, condition, and the services requested. Send a few photos and you'll receive a ballpark estimate before booking.
How long does a detail take?
Service times vary depending on the vehicle and the level of restoration required. Most appointments take anywhere from a few hours to a full day. You'll receive an estimated completion time before work begins and updates throughout the process.
My vehicle is in rough shape. Is it worth detailing?
Some of the most dramatic results come from vehicles that have been neglected for years. While not every imperfection can be reversed, professional detailing can restore comfort, pride, and appearance far beyond what most owners expect. The devil is in the details—and that's where I do my best work.
How do I get started?
Simply complete the contact form or send a text. Share a few photos of your vehicle, and you'll receive a tailored estimate along with recommendations based on its condition and your goals.
What areas do you serve?
I serve all areas of Greater Victoria, from Colwood, through Cadboro Bay, and all the way up to Deep Cove. If you're on the south island, I'm at your beckon call.
Do I need paint correction?
If your paint has swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, or has simply lost its depth and gloss, paint correction can dramatically improve its appearance. During your consultation, I'll help determine whether correction is worthwhile for your vehicle and aligns with your goals.
How often should I have my vehicle detailed?
For most daily-driven vehicles, a professional detail every 3–6 months helps avoid buildup, preserve materials, and prevent rust and other conditions that can negatively impact your vehicle's condition and value. Vehicles exposed to pets, children, construction sites, or harsh weather often benefit from more frequent service.
Will detailing remove stains, pet hair, and odours?
Yes. Deep cleaning techniques can normally eliminate staining, embedded pet hair, and unpleasant odours. Results depend on the severity and age of the contamination, but every effort is made to restore the interior to its best possible condition. Tools and products like pet hair stones, tri-salt mold treatments, enzymatic cleaners, steamers, and chlorine dioxide circulators help to remove practically any trace of odor in all but the most extreme cases. Note that these more intensive processes are not included in our typical detailing packages, but are available upon request.
